PCD Wire Drawing Die Blanks

ASP Abrasives diamond die blanks are polycrystalline diamond (PCD) products produced by advanced high temperature and ultra-high pressure in the presence of a solvent/catalyst metal. High diamond-to-diamond bonding assure them combine the hardness, abrasion resistance and high thermal conductivity of natural diamond with a toughness approaching that of tungsten carbide. They are better choice for high precision and long life wire drawing dies. Our diamond wire drawing die blanks , there are 5 grain sizes available to choose from based on the application of wire drawing: 3 micron, 5 micron, 10 micron, and 25 micron and 50 micron.

ASP Series diamond wire drawing die blanks includes tungsten carbide supported PCD die blanks in round shape of various sizes. These products have a polycrystalline diamond core integrally bonded to a tungsten carbide support ring which in turn enhances the strength of the die blanks. These features allow the products stronger ability to withstand wire drawing with high intensity.

ASP SELF SUPPORTED DIE BLANKS contains catalyst metal and is thermally stable to 650â„? and to be mounted at temperature not exceeding 650^o. ASP blank is electrically conductive and can be drilled and shaped by EDM, laser and ultrasonic etc.
